Every holiday season, thousands of U.S. military families receive a real, farm grown Christmas tree at no cost through Trees for Troops, a signature program of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, the 501(c)(3) arm of the National Christmas Tree Association. The mission is simple and powerful: share the Christmas spirit with kids and families while supporting the environment through programs like Trees for Troops. And this year, we’re joining that mission.
How Trees for Troops works
Across the country, Christmas tree farms and supporters donate real trees. With long-time support from FedEx, those trees are loaded, transported, and delivered directly to U.S. military installations, both stateside and abroad, where service members and their families can pick one up and bring it home. Since 2005, the program has delivered well over 300,000 trees.
Our commitment: $50 per completed job through December 31, 2025
This year, Bergholz’s Tree Experts is proud to support Trees for Troops in a very direct way: We’ll donate $50.00 from every completed job now through December 31, 2025. That means your tree care—pruning, removals, or stump grinding—will help deliver real Christmas trees to military families. (Yes, the pledge is official. We’re listed by Trees for Troops.)
