Monroe Township is one of only two Gloucester County municipalities on the New Jersey Pinelands Commission’s list, and the township’s master plan puts about two-thirds of its land inside the Pinelands Area, with significant wetlands, forest and farmland. Many homes in Williamstown, Victory Lakes and Cecil are built right into wooded lots.
That makes tree work here a mix of residential and rural. Our tree removal crews take down dead and leaning trees close to houses and pools, our tree pruning follows ANSI A300 standards, and our land clearing equipment handles lots, brush and overgrown acreage for builders and owners.

The New Jersey Forest Service contacted Monroe Township about active southern pine beetle infestations on private or municipal land in August 2011, and the same summer crews did cut-and-leave suppression at the Glassboro Wildlife Management Area.
